be-Wise group developed and scientific activity for children at the Bioblitz 2024 event in Serralves on April 19, 2024, with the activity ?Solo com Vida?directed towards schools in the Porto district.
The main goal of the action was to raise participants' awareness of the importance of sustainable soil use and the preservation of its biodiversity.
Participants were provided with samples of forest soil versus intensive agriculture soil to explore the differences in terms of diversity. They were also invited to identify the different groups of organisms found using an interactive dichotomous key.
